ADISA Announces 2019 President-Elect and Officers

At its first Board meeting of the year, the new ADISA (the Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association) Board, elected by the membership in late 2018, selected its 2019 officers. Greg Mausz of Preferred Capital Securities begins his term as the 2019 ADISA president (having been elected president-elect in 2018), and Larry Sullivan of Passco Companies was elected as the 2019 president-elect and will serve as president in 2020. The other ADISA officers selected were: Brian Buehler of Triton Pacific Securities as vice president; Ann Moore of International Assets Advisory as secretary; and Mark Kosanke of Concorde Investment Services as treasurer. Keith Lampi of Inland Private Capital Corporation, ADISA’s 2018 president, will serve the Board as its immediate past president. Additionally, Susan Kelly of Commonwealth Financial Network was also elected by the Board to serve as a director for a two-year term. 

Serving as ADISA’s 2019 President, Greg Mausz is currently Executive Vice President of Operations and Due Diligence for Preferred Apartment Communities. Most recently Mausz held the role of Managing Director of Cape Securities and Cape Investment Advisory, a nationally ranked independent broker-dealer and SEC-registered RIA. He has spent 20 years in the financial services industry, serving in various leadership roles that resulted in raising over $8 billion in investor capital. Mausz received a B.S. in business management from Samford University and a MBA from Kennesaw State University.  He holds active Series 7, 24, 63, 65 and 79 securities registrations and is insurance licensed. 

Larry Sullivan has a strong record of leadership in real estate investment, with more than 30 years of industry expertise. As President of Passco Companies, Mr. Sullivan guides the firm’s strategies for growth, and ensures that Passco’s core philosophy of investor-centric decision making is reflected throughout the company. Mr. Sullivan has played an integral role in the growth of Passco Companies. He spearheaded the implementation of a multifamily investment strategy for the firm, resulting in over 15,000 units under ownership and management throughout the U.S. During his tenure, the firm has expanded from approximately $750 million to over $2.5 billion in assets under management. During his career, Mr. Sullivan has been involved with more than $10 billion in real estate transactions on a national scale, including core, value add and development projects spanning across all the major property and specialty sectors. He earned a Certified Public Accountant license (inactive) from the state of California, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Brian Buehler, Partner & CEO at Triton Pacific Securities, has over 20 years of investment, product development and distribution experience within financial services, commercial real estate, alternative investments and private equity. He runs the firm’s capital markets strategy, bringing his expertise in building distribution platforms that have raised capital to support more than $2 billion of alternative investment strategies. Buehler holds FINRA Series 24, 7, 63 licenses and California P&C and L&H licenses. He earned his B.A. from Chapman University.

Ann Moore is the Director of National Sales/Due Diligence Officer at International Assets Advisory. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in microbiology from Brigham Young University in 1987. Moore began her professional career in 1988 as an underwriter for a large Insurance Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. In May 2008, Moore joined International Assets Advisory LLC and shortly thereafter became Chief Compliance Officer for International Assets Advisory, LLC. In May 2014, Moore was promoted to National Sales Manager where she has invigorated the firms recruiting efforts to attract wire-house, regional, RIAs, and fee-only advisors to IAA’s independent network. Moore currently holds her Series 7 Registered Representative, Series 3 Commodity Broker, Series 65/63 Advisory and State, Series 24 General Principal, Series 30 Commodity Branch Office Manager and a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative.

Mark Kosanke, CPA, is a founding partner of the Concorde Financial Group of Companies, which includes Concorde Financial Group. Kosanke has more than 35 years of accounting, tax and operations experience, and more than 25 years of securities experience in both equities and real estate. 
Keith Lampi is President of Inland Private Capital Corporation (IPCC). Throughout his 15 year tenure, Lampi has helped to shape IPCC into a market leader in the private real estate securities industry. Lampi received his bachelor degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 
Susan Kelly is VP, Investment Management & Research at Commonwealth Financial Network where she manages the alternative investment team, which is responsible for the analysis, approval, and ongoing monitoring of all products within alternative strategies, including managed futures, hedge funds, private equity, and structured products. In addition, she manages the fixed income research group, which assists advisors with fixed income portfolio construction and design, as well as identifies potential opportunities in the fixed income market for advisors and their clients. Prior to joining Commonwealth, Susan held positions at Citizens Advisors in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; John Hancock Advisers in Boston; and Citigroup/Smith Barney in New York City. She holds a BS in management with a concentration in finance from Purdue University and an MBA from New York University, as well as the CAIA designation.
